It's actually just the kind of thing I want to be publishing in my vanity mag, Rumble Strip. If you ever have any other not-going-to-publish-this-anywhere poems, let me know. I like pieces that avoid conventional realism (unless they are about work, or are funny). And I'm trying to take the vanity of my mag one issue at a time.

Jocko BenoitJocko Benoithttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08537691350536750460noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3447387167934547361.post-70279488755483498322015-09-17T12:50:43.304-04:002015-09-17T12:50:43.304-04:00Hi Jenna,

I rated the collection, and a story, Head with a Hole in it, partly because I was really into Mailer and Keruoac at that time and his stories were set in Halifax, New Brunswick and Montreal and they were all so good. Years later I wrote a note about it on the blog and to my surprise he contacted me and sent me a signed copy of Je T'aime Cowboy. And I went through the collection again. That was cool.John Stileshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09686437230529603869noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3447387167934547361.post-53709724988617735762012-10-26T12:51:45.944-04:002012-10-26T12:51:45.944-04:00More news from the Gazette:
